About the project
Every day, as we make our way through the city’s streets, parks, and other places, we pass by fascinating works of art, commemorative plaques, statues, and monuments dedicated to Brno’s preeminent figures. As an Old Brno monk and genius of global importance, G. J. Mendel definitely deserves his statue!
Let’s be proud of one of Brno’s greatest citizens, who brought our city international fame! Let’s thank him for his life’s work and pay tribute to him with a unique statue or monument!
